In the interests of national security, the Australian Defence Force must be capable of providing for our own defence, operating in partnership with our international allies and supporting the UN. To face the multitude of possible security challenges this environment poses, in terms of technology, equipment and personnel, it is vital that Australia continues to have the edge.

Since 1975, CSC has worked closely with Defence Materiel Organisation, Chief Information Officers Group and Defence Services Group to deliver cost effective solutions and specialist personnel to help provide this edge. We are particularly experienced in large complex turnkey projects, requiring strong systems integration and software engineering capabilities.

Our Defence Team has worked on projects such as the S-70B Seahawk helicopter, Super Sea Sprite helicopter, P3-C aircraft, Electronic Warfare Training System, ANZAC Ship and Collins Class Submarine. As a result we have a deep knowledge of Defence System Engineering standards for operational systems. We also understand in-service support requirements, operational business systems and network / system security.

We have successfully delivered many non-operational projects including: JP2080 Defence ROMAN Financial System Upgrade; the Intelligent Supplier Invoicing System; and the DMO / Defence SAP Accounting Demerger.

Security Clearance
CSC has been a member of the Defence Industrial Security Program (DISP) since 1974 and currently holds a Facility Clearance for several premises around Australia, including facilities located in Canberra, Nowra and Sydney. Many staff hold or have held Defence clearances resulting in high levels of security awareness and a strong security culture.
